Sarah Richner-Wunderlin joined the European Spine Study Group as Local Research Coordinator (Schulthess Clinic) at Zurich site in 2013. Before she was employed as a Project Manager in the Department of Sport, Exercise and Health at University of Basel, where she successfully finished her Master of Science in Exercise and Health Sciences in 2012. She had the opportunity to gain some experience and increase her knowledge in 2011/2012 as a Scientific Employee at the Swiss Federal Institute of Sport in Magglingen (Switzerland) and in 2012/2013 as a Research Assistant in the Department of Sport, Exercise and Health at University of Basel. Further she received valuable insight as a trainee in the field of performance diagnostics and biomechanics (Rennbahnklinik, Switzerland) and in applied sports therapy (Mooswaldklinik, Germany). In 2019 she published her first article as first author in the subject area of surgical indication in Adult Spinal Deformity in the European Spine Journal.
